interior design single family house
2021
The single family house for a young family is located in Bisamberg, near the city of Vienna. The close cooperation with the architect, Günther Litzlbauer, at a very early stage of the planning phase, allowed the interior design solutions to be integrated into the architecture from the very beginning.
The interior is characterized by the consistent use of natural materials, with concrete, wood, steel, and stone forming the guiding elements throughout the house. In addition, plants are an integral part of the interior design and add another natural component to the material catalog.

Alongside the raw exposed concrete ceiling, the monolithic light-colored floor and the smooth white plastered walls create a subtle framework for the furnishings made of rich walnut wood and shell limestone. The centerpiece is the entrance area with its two-story exposed concrete wall, from which glass lightbulb heads protrude. These were specifically designed, manufactured, and installed for the project> prototype.
The almost silhouette-like steel staircase and its enormous integrated planter in polished black steel, only rusted and oiled, complement the puristic design. In the sanitary areas, accents are created with round glass mosaic tiles, which, together with the simple white Corian sanitary furniture, highlight the plants in the built-in planter.
